The area

The safety of people and the environment has priority - this applies not least to the handling of consumer goods and other products with which we deal with in our everyday and working life. Manufacturers and distributors must, therefore, conform to stringent legal requirements for product safety. The TÜV Rheinland experts offer support in this. We test, evaluate and certify the safety and quality of products in almost all categories: from toys, electrical appliances and medical products to industrial machinery and modern information technology.

The people

As an expert for chemical product testing, for example, you are responsible for testing toys, consumer goods or food-related consumer goods. They determine the chemical test requirements of the respective products, create the corresponding programs and implement the test orders appropriately and professionally. You will work independently with internal and external laboratories, prepare test documents for certification and process complaints.
